- Collection of your loved one from a home, care home, hospital or mortuary within 20 miles of our Heathfield office, at any time of day or night, with no additional collection charge.
- A simple coffin suitable for cremation
- Transport to the crematorium in a traditional hearse
- A recording of the final journey: the hearse arriving at the crematorium
- Cremation at a local crematorium, including the cremation fee
- Return of ashes in a suitable container
- All necessary legal paperwork and cremation documentation

This is an optional visit before an unattended cremation. It is not an attended funeral or the WFS attended direct cremation service.

Can family attend the crematorium?
No. A direct cremation is unattended, with no mourners or ceremony at the crematorium. You can arrange a separate remembrance in your own way.
What happens to the ashes?
Ashes are returned in a suitable container. We will explain and agree the collection or return arrangements with you.
